How it began...

Now and then you have some weirdos suddenly lauching the weirdest ideas. And who succeed in making them come true. During the GCC2008 Raven Silverclaw made me the offer to organise a beneficial concert for the Greencraft. She really liked the idea and she knew some bands willing to join the idea. It seemed to me as being the Idea of the Year, so we agreed to meet at the BBQ in order to discuss the details, so we could move on.

However in august, between a chicken leg and a hamburger we were in for a sprise: I thought the concert to take place in 2009, but Raven decided to do it in 2008 still. The idea was freightening to many members of Greencraft Creations. So a date was found, and as Raven predicted we soon had a nice place and enough musicians: The Old Scratch Band, Harmony Glen, Mind the Midgie and Daithi Rua with Ed Veltrop.

A great musical afternoon...

It was a great day in't Syndicaat. Not only we enjoyed the great music, but were as well moved by Irish Dancers and the solo dancing from Willow. In the basement we found Holger, David from New Order of Druids and our own Greencraft stand with Aria, Amor and Albijon. We were as well offering the people a fresh nose but we changed ideas when it began snowing.

This same snow probably kept some people at home as the snow felt in huge quantities around noon. We did count some hundred visitors of which some were unfortunatly non-paying, but we received no complaints. More, there was a demand for another edition in 2009, and maybe this time in Belgium.

Thank You!

A really big "thank you" to the people allowing us to auction some nice items, so we did earn some money after all.Never tell a person it can't be done. The Goddess may have been waiting centuries for someone ignorant of the impossible to do that very thing.

Blessed Be;

Chonsoe

A final word...

Most know Luka Bloom or Omnia. We also have Amadan, Blue Dew, Cláchan, Danny Guinan, Filthy Nelly, Ogham, Rapalje, Ygdrassil and The Ol Foxes. Harder, and more to the northern music, we have Heidevolk and Ancient Rites which deserve a place in any Wiccan music collection. And we have Wendy Seager with Luka Bloom right here...
